"Phew, flat ground!" Ecki thought with relief.#(Ecki had never been so happy about flat ground before.)#Ecki's mouth felt uncomfortably dry...#Whilst in search of a small pool from which to drink, Ecki thought about the cave.##Dull-coloured stone awaited the offbeat clapping and patting of Ecki's graceless feet.#There was glinting in the distance, but Ecki couldn't guess what the light was bouncing off of.##It wasn't cold in the cave, like Ecki had expected it to be.#Loneliness started to drape over Ecki like a slowly falling veil in the moonlight.#Ecki thought of an encouraging saying to do with loneliness.#Jeka says "When you feel lonely, keep going on ahead to new things and places, and you'll see somebody eventually."##This wasn't the most profound of Jeka's advice, but Ecki decided that there must be truth in its simplicity.#And onwards Ecki sauntered, feeling very alone, but with a lot of faith to make up for it.
